I grew up and lived in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area into my 30's. Since then, I have lived in both rural Ohio; Roanoke, Virginia; and finally Hampton Roads, Virginia. Living in these different areas has given me a unique perspective on moving and living in areas other than "your home". Let's face it, you have to be chamilion -like to move to many different places. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, I have lived & worked in Hampton since 1988. I love our area & greatly enjoy sharing all of its benefits with new clients and military members moving to the Hampton Roads area. With a Degree in Sociology, I worked at the shelter for Battered Women for 5 years before I became a licensed REALTOR in 1994. I have since obtained designations that benefit my clients, my broker's license, owned a real estate franchise for 15 yrs, been President of our local Association of REALTORS and was named REALTOR of the Year for our Association. I am married to my husband, Ken, who is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and is a retired Commander. We have two adult sons. Matt, and his wife, Marilyn, along with our grandson, Ben, live locally. Our other son, Mike, is also a Naval Academy graduate. He is stationed in Corpus Christi, TX, with his wife, Kira. My passions are family, traveling, bird watching and hiking.
