Raised in Corpus Christi, she was inspired by her father, a respected contractor, learning that real estate is about trust and relationships, not just transactions. She holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from South Texas College but takes the most pride in being a mother to her two daughters. Outside of real estate, she volunteers at their schools and serves on multiple committees, including the Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS and the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Entertainment Committee since 2006. Real Estate has been my life for over 40 years. My husband and I moved to South Texas in 1972 when he had an opportunity to open his own business. We both had been raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. After high school, I attended college and graduated with a degree in Education. I have been a high school counselor and I have taught business and social studies at the high school level. In 1980, I changed careers and began life as a Real Estate Agent/Broker. My son, Jasen, after college, joined me in the Real Estate business. In 1993, we opened the doors of Star Properties Real Estate in the Greater McAllen area. I have been awarded many Top-Performing sales awards during the years, including the 'Top Selling Agent' for the year among all agents in the McAllen area. I love helping people, whether it is a person's first home or for a family that has owned many homes. My goal is to make the home buying process a great experience. I work hard to have satisfied customers.

I started my carrier in 2006, my passion for helping people find their dream homes and build generational wealth motivated me to venture into real estate. I dedicate myself to exceeding my clients’ needs and offer professional, top-level customer service. My focus on understanding the needs of my clients has allowed me to guide, advise and educate them exhaustively, effectively empowering them to make well-informed decisions. I gained a foothold in the industry, learned the skills, & became really busy, & at one point I couldn’t keep up with a fast-growing number of clients. Luckily, my husband believed in me enough to leave his role as a probation officer for the State of Texas to join real estate & together form a team to serve our clients. I'm a great believer in continuous learning and self-development, I recently obtained my Brokers License.
