Retired from a 30 year career as a Canadian Diplomat, served in Venezuela, Indonesia, Chile, China, India, Afghanistan and Cuba. Great experience working with people of various cultures and ethnicities. Broad experience in client service, especially when dealing with clients in stressful conditions. Personally purchased and sold 13 of my own properties in Ottawa before becoming a licensed agent. Designed and built two houses from scratch. Extensive handyman skills and experience in all matters of electrical, plumbing, framing, construction and finishing having personally renovated 6 homes. Keen eye for construction details, identifying problematic areas as well as opportunities. This extensive experience in renovating and construction affords me the ability to guide my clients not only in the purchase or sale of their property, but what may help them achieve their most favorable result.

I'm a soft-spoken man of science and data. I have a knack for carefully listening to and understanding my clients' needs. I was born and raised in Ottawa. Spent my high-school & university days in Ottawa's Lowertown and Sandy Hill, yet have a deep understanding of all areas of the city and many of its surroundings. I grew up in a family of 7 children and love my parents & siblings more than I can describe. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with all people - spending a day showing homes to clients is one I am very grateful for.
