Doug grew up in Jackson County, Michigan and is the Managing Partner of the Beiswanger & Risner Real Estate Group. After serving as a Sergeant in the US Marines Corps and graduating from Siena Heights University, he fulfilled a career in marketing and operations across the mid-west United States with the Sam's Club Division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Doug has worked in residential, commercial, and investment real estate in the southern Michigan area for over 15 years. He utilizes his sales, marketing, and operations experience to repeatedly lead the Commercial and Residential real estate market, winning local and national honors. Doug serves on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities, volunteers for Make-A-Wish of Michigan, various other community projects, and is a member of Kiwanis Club. He's a former Reserve Deputy of the Year with Jackson Sheriff's Office. When not at work Doug loves watching college sports and spending time with family and friends.
