My first semester at UNO was cancelled due to the natural disaster known as Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina flooded out much of New Orleans. My city was experiencing such a shortage of housing that when I returned to school the idea of helping families find affordable living thru homeownership was all I can focus on. In November of 2014, after working in restaurants for 18 years, I finally became a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Louisiana.
