As an Ohio native, I moved to Florida in 1972 and graduated from Dunedin High School. I went on to serve in the United States Air Force for seven years, stationed in England. My military service instilled in me a strong sense of duty and honor. After my service, I returned to the Tampa Bay area and began a career at Nielsen TV Ratings.
