I am no longer an active real estate agent. When choosing an agent to work with I suggest you find an agent that will provide "single agency representation". Most don't. Most agents provide "transaction agency" representation. That is, they provide limited representation to both buyer and seller. You are not being fully represented!!!!! This is huge and most consumers don't know this and don't understand it. Also, choose someone that does this full time. So don't go with the first person to call you and don't go with your hairdresser's niece. This will be a substantial transaction and you need representation!
